The ASICS GEL-Lyte III has had an amazing year.

Thus far in 2020, the Japanese runner has claimed several high-profile releases, including collaborations with British menswear retailer END and KITH owner Ronnie Fieg. It’s no doubt that the pair has seen a resurrection unseen since the early 2010s. Rounding off the year along with the “Wood Crepe” pair, the GEL-Lyte III is getting finished in “Misty Pine”.

Featuring a premium construction, the duo is constructed entirely in suede. The aforementioned material runs throughout the upper, overlaying the teal mid-foot branding. Starkly contrasting from its fellow release date brother, this iteration is finished in tonal blue and teal hues. Tinted off-white laces supplement the colored upper, adding a hint of neutrality to the pair’s otherwise tonal color pallet.

The ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Misty Pine” has already released in Australia, so expect this pair to arrive soon in the States for $120 on ASICS.com. Perhaps we’ll see these release on December 10.

What a year it has been for the Gel-Lyte III.

The canvas of various collaborations and colorways, the ASICS classic has maintained near the same reverence and acknowledgement as any other sneaker. Following Ronnie Fieg’s “The Palette” collection, the flagship silhouette is set to finish the year with this “Wood Crepe” iteration.

Combining both “Wood Crepe” and “Plum Blossom”, the Gel-Lyte III combines both the seasonal vibes of Autumn with dashes of pink resembling Spring. The sneaker is constructed with an almost entirely suede upper, with various overlays sitting atop the muted pink branding. A cork-like insole completes the design.

The ASICS Gel-Lyte III “Wood Crepe” has already seen an Australian release but look for the State-wide release to occur this December on Asics.com, perhaps on December 10.

To go alongside its regal “Baltic Jewel” outfit, ASICS is also set to release a “Classic Red” iteration of its iconic GEL-Lyte III silhouette. Acting as an homage to the country of China, the ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Classic Red” is aptly dressed in the nation’s main colors of red and gold.

Accenting its perforated white leather upper is “Classic Red” overlays dressing the toe box, heel, eyestays, and mid-panels. Elsewhere, black adds a contrasting look and arrives on the laces, patent leather vector insignias, ASICS branding on the heel tab, and finally on the outsole. The final touches include gold accents on the forefoot and heel.

Additionally, this colorway celebrates the model’s 30^th anniversary. Already available in the Australian market, look for the ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Classic Red” to drop via ASICS US on December 10 for a retail price of $120.

There are still a few weeks left in 2020, which means there’s still time for ASICS to celebrate the 30^th anniversary of its iconic GEL-Lyte III silhouette. To end off the year with a bang, the footwear giant is giving the model a regal “Baltic Jewel” outfit.

Already available in Australia, the ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Baltic Jewel” comes dressed in a “Baltic Jewel,” “Black,” and white color scheme. “Baltic Jewel” overlays help to elevate the sneaker’s perforated white leather base, while black accents come in on the laces, patent leather vector logos, and outsoles. Elsewhere subtle hits of gold accentuate the branding and toe overlay.
