Continuing their strong rollout of ZX models over the course of this year, adidas planned a subtle hit for December. Much attention was understandably given to the model after launching their A-ZX Series, though now adidas welcomes a non-series version. Straight out of the archives, the ZX 1000 C arrives in a 1 to 1 reissue of the 1989 classic.
The shoe exudes retro comfort with a mesh & synthetic suede upper dressed in a mix of Grey, Black & Blue. The side panels, vamp & tongue are all a metallic Grey mesh, while the toecap, heel panel & eyestays are a subtle Grey suede. The adidas branding on the sides are embroidered in Black, above a supporting Black panel with the ZX insignia emblazoned. Flat White laces combine with a White rubber midsole & Grey outsole (with Blue hits) to wrap up the model.
In a true 1 to 1 reissue, the shoes of course include the iconic Torsion bar recognizable in the ZX series. The pair has already released via Hanon though is expected to drop on adidas’ US website soon. If you’re a fan of ZX, you’ll love this model and would be smart to snap it up before it’s gone!
